The MENCS will compete at Talladega Superspeedway this week. The playoff race at Talladega always has a huge wreck at the end while drivers try to position themselves in position to finish up front. The drivers who are running in the back usually avoid the wreck and finish up front.
The best strategy this week is to ignore the name on the windshield and simply select the drivers who start outside the top 15. The highest priced drivers usually qualify up front and do not score place differential points. They also have a good chance of wrecking since they are the drivers who are driving aggressively to finish up front. I am selecting the drivers who start in the back, have a history of running well at the plate tracks and have a good chance to score many place differential points Sunday.
Brad Keselowski ($11,800) (Starts 18th)
Joey Logano ($11,900) (Starts 20th)
Kyle Larson ($10,500) (Starts 34th)
Jamie McMurray ($8,500) (Starts 31st)
Ty Dillon ($7,200) (Starts 29th)
Good luck this week!
