Bristol Dirt Race Schedule

Facebooktwitter

NASCAR will compete on dirt for the first time since 1970 next Sunday. The Cup Series will have a unique schedule this week, so I am updated the posting of the picks for this race. Here is the new schedule…

Monday

There will be no Race Notes this week because this is the first time these drivers have competed on the dirt at Bristol. I will replace this article with a Bristol Dirt Race Preview article. I will break down everything you need to know about the track, the rules and the race.

Tuesday

The PGA will compete in the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play event this week. The tournament starts on Wednesday, so the DraftKings and FanDuel PGA picks will be posted Tuesday.

Wednesday

The Driver Group Game picks need to be submitted by 8 a.m. Friday morning. You will be required to select 4 starting drivers and 4 bench drivers (like last year) for the race at Bristol. You will be able to move drivers from your bench into your starting lineup until the green flag on Sunday. All eight drivers will be eligible to score qualifying bonus point, unless your commissioner changed the default settings. The Driver Group Game picks will be posted Wednesday.

Thursday

I will post the “Best Bets” for the Bristol Dirt race. I want to get some bets in before the practice sessions and the Heat Races, because the drivers who look good in those events will have their odds lowered.

Friday

Friday is “Practice Day” at Bristol. The Cup and Truck Series will have two practice sessions on FS1. I will not be posting any articles this day.

Saturday

The Truck Series will have 4 Heat Races starting at 4:30 p.m. ET on FS1. I will post the DraftKings Truck Series picks after the heat races (about 6 p.m. ET). There will be no point’s model or driver breakdown this week since I only have about 30 minutes to post the picks. I would post them earlier, but I need to know the driver’s starting positions since DraftKings awards place differential points.

There will also be 4 heat races for the Cup Series starting at 6 p.m. ET on FS1. The Cup Series picks will be posted Sunday morning since I want to see how the Cup Series drivers perform in the Truck Series race.

Sunday

I will post the Fantasy Live, One & Done, DraftKings and FanDuel picks early Sunday morning. I want as much data as possible before I make the picks and you should have them at least 5 hours before the green flag is waived.
