DFS Picks for NFL Week 11

Facebooktwitter

It is hard to believe that there are only eight weeks left in the NFL regular season. The battle for the playoff spots are starting to heat up and we are starting to get a clearer picture as to who are the real Super Bowl teams and who are the pretenders. We are starting to figure out who the good and bad players are for our DFS lineups. The picks have been pretty good in the Cash Contests, so I plan to stick to what has been working so far this year.

Once again we have an International Game Sunday morning. The Washington Commanders travel to Madrid, Spain to take on the Miami Dolphins. This does not scream must see TV, but these two teams have enough firepower to put on a decent show. The Sunday Night Football game is the best game of the week. The Detroit Lions travel to Philadelphia to try and show the Super Bowl Champs that there is a new show in town. The Monday Night Football game is a real dud between the Cowboys and Raiders.

Here are my picks for the NFL Week 11….

INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOWDOWN PICKS

DRAFTKINGS NFL CASH CONTEST

QUARTERBACK: I have been able to hit the bull’s-eye the last couple of weeks with Jaxson Dart as my Cash Contest QB. It doesn’t look like Dart is going to be an option this week so I will save some salary and play JACOBY BRISSETT. He took over as the QB for the Cardinals in Week 6 and Brissett has averaged 23 DK Points per Game. I know he will be without his top WR (Marvin Harson Jr.), but I am not worried about. The Cardinals do not have much of a running game, so Brissett will be throwing it a lot vs. the 49ers 24th ranked pass defense.

RUNNINGBACKS: There is a lot of value at the WR Position in Week 11, so I will spend most of my salary at the RB Position. CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY has been a stud this year. He is averaging 25.5 DK Points per Game and that includes the 24 DK Points he scored vs. the Cardinals in Week 3. CMC should have no problem scoring 25+ DK Points again Sunday… JOSH JACOBS has been a “bell-cow” for the Packers. He is averaging 24 touches and 20 DK Points in his last two games. Now Jacobs gets to face the Giants 31st ranked run defense. The Packers will likely pound the ball at the weak Giants Defense and that means a lot of points for Jacobs Sunday.

WIDE RECEIVERS: I played EMEKA EGBUKA a lot early in the season and he worked out well in every game. I went back to the rookie last week and he rewarded me with 26.5 DK Points. The Bills vs. Bucs game should be high scoring. Egbuka should catch a lot of passes and score a lot of DK Points in Buffalo Sunday… Ja’Marr Chase gets all of the hype in the Bengals Offense, but TEE HIGGINS has been nearly as good as Chase. Higgins has averaged 20 DK Points since Joe Falcco took over as the starting QB for the Bengals. Higgins scored 21.1 DK Points vs. the Steelers in Week 7. He should be able to do the same Sunday…. My “punt play” at the WR Position will be MICHAEL WILSON. He had seven targets last week and Wilson should have even more with Marvin Harrison Jr. out of the lineup. It will not be hard for Wilson to return 4X’s value on his $3,800 salary Sunday.

TIGHT END: TYLER HIGBEE was banged up at the start of the season. He is now healthy and starting to be more involved in the Ram’s Offense. The best way to attack the Seahawks Defense is with the TE. The Seahawks rank No. 9 against the WR and No. 30 vs. the TE. I am sure Sean McVey knows this and he has some plays drawn up to get Higbee the ball Sunday. He should be a great value pick at only $2,700.

FLEX POSITION: JAYLEN WARREN had his best game of the season vs. the Bengals in Week 7. Warren scored 22.8 DK Points and the Bengals just traded their best LB (Logan Wilson) to the Cowboys. The Steelers vs. Bengals game has the highest Over/Under on the slate (49.5 Points). Both teams are projected to score over 23 points. I have a piece of the Bengals’ Offense with Tee Higgins. I will get a piece of the Steelers’ Offense with Jaylen Warren.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: I will punt the Defense/ST Position this week and take a chance with the TITANS DEFENSE/ST. I am not going to try and convince you that the Titans are the “Monsters of the Midway” or the “Steele Curtain”, but they did just score 20 DK Points vs. the Chargers last week. They should be able to return value vs. the Texans weak offensive-line and their backup QB.

DRAFTKINGS NFL TOURNAMENT CONTEST

TOURNAMENT STACK: The Bengals and Steelers just had a shoot-out in Week 7. The Bengals beat the Steelers 33-31 on Thursday Night Football in Week 7. The Bengals vs. Steelers game has the highest Over/Under (49.5 Points) on the slate, so it should be a shoot-out again Sunday. I will stack AARON RODGERS + PAT FREIERMUTH from the Steelers and run it back with CHASE BROWN + TEE HIGGINS on the Bengals’ side of the ball. Rodgers + Freiermuth combined for 55.7 DK Points vs. the Bengals in Week 7. The Brown + Higgins stack combined for 36.6 DK Points. I just need these four players to do what they did in Week 7 (combined for 92.3 DK Points) and this will be a good foundation to build out Tournament Contest lineup from Sunday.

RUNNINGBACKS: I have CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY in my Cash Contest lineup and I will use him in my Tournament Contest lineup too. I thought about using Bijan Robinson vs. Carolina, but I do not like Tyler Allgeier stealing goal-line carries from Robinson. We do not have to worry about CMC sharing any carries or touches. He will touch the ball 20+ times and he has a great chance to score 20+ DK Points Sunday.

WIDE RECEIVERS: The Giants made a switch at the head coaching position and they made a switch at the QB Position (because Jaxson Dart is injured). I expect the G-Men to be airing it out with their gunslinger at QB Sunday. This means a lot of targets and a lot of DFS Points for WAN’DALE ROBINSON. He is a great value pick for only $5,500 Sunday…. I have MICHAEL WILSON in the Cash Contest lineup and I will use him in the Tournament Contest lineup too. You can pivot to the lower owned Greg Dortch to save some salary. If you do pivot to Dortch, I would also pivot from Aaron Rodgers and Chase Brown to Joe Flacco and Jaylen Warren in the stack.

RB + DEFENSE/ST: The best RB + DEFENSE/ST stack on the slate in Week 11 is JOSH JACOBS + PACKERS DEFENSE/ST. The Packers are a 7 point favorite. They should have no problem getting a lead from the Giants and then running the ball a lot with Jacobs. The Giants are starting “Mr. Interception” at QB Sunday (Jameis Winston). He is good at throwing the ball all over the field, but he is also good at getting sacked and throwing INTs. The Packers should be the top Defense/ST on the slate in Week 11.

* If Drake London is out Sunday, I will pivot from Michael Wilson to Darnell Mooney in this lineup.
