The last week of the NFL regular season is here and this is the time when things get crazy in the NFL. Many of the teams will sit out star players and we have some new DFS players dipping their toes into the DraftKings Contests since their season long leagues are now complete. We need to stay on top of the NFL news in order to win in Week 18. Using players from the teams that have a lot to play for is the most important strategy that you can use in the final slate of the regular season.
Here are the teams that will likely use their top players in Week 18 on the Main Slate…
DENVER BRONCOS need to win in order to clinch the No. 1 seed and the first round bye in the playoffs.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS need to win and a Denver Broncos lost in order to get the No. 1 seed and the first round bye.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS can get the No. 1 seed with a win and a Denver and New England lost. The Jags also need to win to secure the AFC South title (or they can get it with a Houston Texans lost).
CHICAGO BEARS are competing with the Philadelphia Eagles for the No. 2 seed. The Bears will likely use their top players to get a win vs. the Detroit Lions.
Coach Sean McVay said he plans to play the L.A. RAMS starters Sunday vs. the Arizona Cardinals.
NEW ORLEANS is trying to get TYLER SHOUGH the Rookie of the Year Award, so I expect him to play with some starters too.
