DFS Picks for O’Reilly Series Race at Bristol

Facebooktwitter

The O’Reilly Series will join the Cup Series and the Truck Series at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend. Justin Allgaier won two of the eight races this year, but the O’Reilly Series has been more even than it has been in the past. Connor Zilisch won 10 races last year. I doubt any driver is going to win anywhere near 10 races in 2026. The field is stacked, so we could get another new driver in Victory Lane tonight. The Suburban Propane 300 be seen Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on the CW Channel.

FANTASY STATS FOR BRISTOL

Bristol is known as the “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile ” There is an art to getting up the hills into the corner and diving to the bottom of the track like a roller coaster. Some drivers are better than others at this type of driving. The best way to handicap the Suburban Propane 300 is to look at the driver’s stats from the previous races at Bristol Motor Speedway. I also added in the stats from the race at Darlington since it is a high-banked track and I wanted some of the 2026 speed factored into the stats.

Here are the stats from the races at Bristol last year Darlington Raceway this year, sorted by DraftKings Points….

PRACTICE / QUALIFYING

The O’Reilly Series had their normal practice session Saturday afternoon. The teams were given 50-minutes to shake down their cars for the race at Bristol. The O’Reilly Series had a short break after practice, before the cars lined up for qualifying. After the field was set for the Suburban Propane 300 the cars were impounded for the race Saturday night. The drivers who show up at the top of the 10-lap speed chart and qualify inside the top-10 typically run up front at Bristol.

DRIVER RANKINGS FOR BRISTOL

STRATEGY FOR BRISTOL

Kyle Larson and Justin Allgaier are clearly the class of the field this evening. I would put Connor Zilisch at the top, but he hasn’t looked good this year in his return to the O’Reilly Series.

There are 300 laps in the race. That means there are 210 dominator points up for grabs. We need to score as many of these dominator points as possible. There is a good chance that Kyle Larson and Justin Allgaier will be the top-two dominators. There will likely be a lot of cautions based on what we seen so far this year in the O’Reilly Series. We need to decide if we want to play Larson or Allgaier. They are clearly the class of the field. It is tough to play them both, so I will play Larson in 70% of my lineups and Allgaier in 30%.

WINNING LINEUPS AT BRISTOL (2025)

The trend at Bristol Motor Speedway has been to pay up for the highest-priced driver as you main dominator. That driver was Kyle Larson in the spring race at Bristol last year and it was Connor Zilisch in the fall race. The “stars and scrubs” strategy worked in both lineups last year and it should work again this week. Drivers go a lap down early at Bristol, so do not select too many drivers who start deep in the field when you are looking for your “scrubs” at the bottom of your lineup.
