DFS Picks for Truck Series Race at Bristol

Facebooktwitter

The Craftsman Truck Series will join the Cup Series and the O’Reilly Series at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend. This is the last race of the “Triple Truck Challenge” for the Truck Series. Corey Heim won the first race at Darlington and then went back to Victory Lane last week at Rockingham. Heim will win $500,000 if he can sweep the Triple Truck Challenge races with a win at Bristol. Be sure to set your clocks to “Heim Time” this weekend. The Tennessee Army National Guard 250 can be seen Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

FANTASY STATS FOR BRISTOL

We all know that Kyle Busch, Christopher Bell and Corey Heim are good at Bristol, but who else is good at this track? Bristol is known as the “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile ” There is an art to getting up the hills into the corner and diving to the bottom of the track like a roller coaster. Some drivers are better than others at this type of driving. The best way to handicap the The Tennessee Army National Guard 250 is to look at the driver’s stats from the previous races at Bristol Motor Speedway. I also added in the stats from the race at Darlington since it is a high-banked track and I wanted some of the 2026 speed factored into the stats.

Here are the stats from the last four races at Bristol Motor Speedway from 2024-2025 and the stats from Darlington Raceway this year, sorted by DraftKings Points….

PRACTICE / QUALIFYING

The Truck Series had a 50 minute practice session to dial in their trucks for this evening’s race and then the teams lined up for single-lap qualifying. The field was set the The Tennessee Army National Guard 250 and the trucks were impounded for the race. The trucks that maintained their speed over the long-runs in practice are the ones we want in our DFS lineups tonight.

DFS STRATEGY FOR BRISTOL

The race this evening is scheduled for 250 laps (133.25 miles). That means there are 62.5 points available for leading laps and 112.5 points available for fastest laps (175 dominator points available in the race). The trend in the last four races at Bristol Motor Speedway is for two drivers to lead over 100 laps each and score over 45 fastest laps (45+ dominator points). We MUST have these two drivers in our lineup if we want to win tonight. I know Corey Heim, Christopher Bell and Kyle Busch are going to be popular, but the chances of these three drivers scoring 80+ DraftKings Points are very high. This is a good race to use a “stars and scrubs” strategy when setting your lineups.
