The Truck Series will travel to North Wilksboro this week for some short track racing. The trucks have not competed at North Wilksboro since 1996 and that race was won by Mark Martin. Finally, NASCAR found a track that Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter have not raced a truck on 😊. The field is stacked this week. Kyle Larson, William Byron, Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, Bubba Wallace and Parker Kligerman will be joining the Truck Series regulars in the race. The Tyson 250 is scheduled for Saturday at 1:30 pm ET on FOX.
PRACTICE / QUALIFYING
The Truck Series had a 20-minute practice session Friday afternoon and then they lined up the trucks for qualifying. Most of the truckers were able to make long runs in practice. We can use this data for the picks Saturday and combine it with the driver’s stats from the short track races at Martinsville and Phoenix.

DFS STRATEGY FOR NORTH WILKSBORO
The race at North Wilksboro is scheduled for 250 laps (162.5 miles). That means there are 62.5 points available for leading laps and 112.5 points available for fastest laps (237.5 dominator points). That is a lot of dominator points for a Truck Series race.
We do not have any data to work with to help predict how many laps the dominators will lead and how many fastest laps they will score. Based on other short track races, the main dominator leads roughly 48% of the laps. That would be 120 laps and probably score about 48 fastest laps (51.6 dominator points). We need to pay up for the drivers we think can lead the most laps Saturday.

The Driver Group Game will once again have a contest for the Truck Series. It is easy to play. You simply select one driver from Group A, two drivers from Group B and one driver from Group C for your lineup. You can only use the drivers in Groups A & B six times throughout the season.
