Driver Rankings for Darlington

Facebooktwitter

Throwback weekend… The start of the 2020 NASCA Cup Series Playoffs… Labor Day weekend… There is a lot to like about the race this week. This will be the third race for the Cup Series at Darlington. “The Track Too Tough to Tame” may be a little easier to tame this time around since the cars have already turned 501 laps at the “Lady in Black” this season. This is always one of the best races of the season. The Southern 500 can be seen Sunday 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

The best way to find your drivers for the race Sunday night is to look at what happened at Darlington in May. I used the Driver Rating, Average Green Flag Speed and Average Running Position in the two races to help determine my rankings. I also used the stats from last year’s race at Darlington and the Driver Rating from the last four oval track races (Not including Daytona). I think momentum will be important going into the playoffs so I wanted to factor that into the rankings.
