NASCAR will travel to Kentucky Speedway this week and you need to update your calendar. This is not a normal schedule for the three series. The Xfinity Series will race Thursday night and then again Friday night. The Truck Series will be on the track Saturday afternoon and the Cup Series will compete Sunday afternoon. If the rain stays away, there should be plenty of rubber on the track for the Cup cars this week.
I used a lot of data for my rankings this week. This week I focused on the speed from the intermediate tracks this season. I used the Green Flag Speed and Driver Ratings from the races at Las Vegas, Charlotte, Atlanta and Homestead. I also use the Driver Ratings from the race last year at Kentucky and the Green Flag Speed from that race.
