Driver Rankings for Texas

Facebooktwitter

NASCAR will travel to No Limits, Texas this week to compete at Texas Speedway. If you like speed, this is the race for you. The track has a lot of banking in the corners and a lot of grip. This allows the drivers to run wide-open around the 1.5-mile quad-oval. This also means tighter racing and a lot of cautions. The last race at Texas had a record 11 cautions. It will likely be another crazy race at Texas Sunday.

I used a lot of data for my rankings this week. This week I focused on the speed from Kentucky. Although the tracks are different in shape and banking, I still think some of that data will transfer to the race at Texas. The track that is most similar to Texas is Charlotte. Both tracks are quad-ovals with almost the same banking. I put a lot of emphasis on the last two races at Charlotte for the picks this week. I also factored in the two races at Texas in 2019.
