The MENCS will compete at Kansas Speedway this week. This will be the second night race of the season. The cream usually rises to the top at the 1.5-mile tracks so be sure to use the best drivers you can this week and do not worry about saving allocations. The race can be seen Saturday night at 8 pm ET on Fox Sports 1.
Each week I use different stats in my model to create the best rankings possible to give you an edge on the completion. This week I used the drivers performance in the 2018 season, driver rating at Kansas, average finishing position at Kansas, results from the 1.5-mile tracks this season, and the fastest laps of the season (we want driver with fast cars) and quality pass % (we want drivers who can pass other cars).
My early week pick for the pole is Martin Truex Jr.
