Fantasy Live allows each team to try and predict the driver who will win the pole each week. You do not have to make a pick, but if you do and you are correct; your fantasy team will earn 5 bonus points. These points can add up and be the difference in a few positions in your league standings so we need to get them right this year.
Here is my pick for the Pole at Charlotte: Alex Bowman
I originally had William Byron selected as my pick for the pole, but I need to change it. Byron goes out 4th in qualifying and it does not pay to be one of the first on the track. Drivers can use the data from other cars to see how they turned a fast lap. The drivers who qualify 25th or later usually have all of the data they need for their qualifying lap. I decided to go with Alex Bowman since he goes out 29th in qualifying and he qualified 3rd at Auto Club earlier this season.
* There is a 50% chance of rain Sunday afternoon so be sure to have Kevin Harvick as your pole position pick if it looks like qualifying will be canceled.
