Fantasy Live allows each team to try and predict the driver who will win the pole each week. You do not have to make a pick, but if you do and you are correct; your fantasy team will earn 5 bonus points. These points can add up and be the difference in a few positions in your league standings so we need to get them right this year.
Here is my pick for the Pole at Darlington: Kyle Larson
My pick for the pole is Kyle Larson. He has been good at qualifying on the steep tracks this year and he consistently starts up front at Darlington. Larson qualified 3rd at Dover (steep track) and 2nd last at Bristol (steep track). Larson qualified 2nd in last year’s Southern 500. He definitely has the fastest car. Larson was fastest on the 5-lap, 10-lap, 15-lap and 20-lap speed charts. I am sure he will be fast for 1 lap.
Larson will go out 29th in qualifying. Usually the track picks up speed throughout qualifying so he goes out late enough to post a fast lap.
