Fantasy Live allows each team to try and predict the driver who will win the pole each week. You do not have to make a pick, but if you do and you are correct; your fantasy team will earn 5 bonus points. These points can add up and be the difference in a few positions in your league standings so we need to get them right this year.
Here is my pick for the Pole at Pocono: Erik Jones
I was planning on selecting William Byron for the pole. There is no doubt the No. 24 car is one of the fastest in the field. I do not like his qualifying position though. Byron will be the 2nd car to qualifying and the track usually gains speed as rubber is laid down. Erik Jones posted the fastest time in final practice. The No. 20 car will be the 29th car to qualify so there should be a lot of speed in the track when Jones makes his qualifying lap. I will roll the dice with the No. 20 car for the pole.
