DANIEL SUAREZ (SPIRE MOTORSPORTS) CHEVY

2025 FANTASY LIVE POINTS: 29TH

2026 FANTASY NASCAR RANK: 30TH

* The 2026 ranking are based on the driver’s projected points scored for the 2026 season and NOT his predicted finish in the Cup Series standings. The rankings are based on the driver’s performance last year, momentum heading into the 2026 season and the strength of the driver’s team.

2025 RECAP: Daniel Suarez had his second worst season in the Cup Series last year. He finished 29th in the NASCAR Cup Series Point Standings and scored the 29th most Fantasy Live Points. Suarez had a lot of pressure on him in 2025. He was a free agent at the end of the season and the rumors started early that Trackhouse Racing was looking for a place for the Xfinity Series star, Connor Zilisch to land. Ross Chastain had some success in the No. 1 car and Shane van Gisbergen was almost a lock for the playoffs because of his ability to win on the road courses. This left Saurez as the odd man out.

It was not all bad for Daniel Suarez in 2025. NASCAR made their first trip to Mexico for a points paying race. Suarez won the Xfinity Series race and he finished 19th in the Cup Series race in his home country. Suarez also had a lot of success on the Superspeedway tracks in 2025. He had an average finishing position of ninth at Daytona and Talladega. This allowed Suarez to score the fifth-most Fantasy Live Points in 2025. His best races were at Las Vegas in March and Daytona in August (Suarez finish second in both of these races). He finished seven of the 36 races in the top-10 (19%) and he had an average finishing position of 20.9. Suarez only led one lap all season and that really hurt his ability to score well in Fantasy NASCAR in 2025. Suarez had some success last year, but it was very difficult to predict when his good runs would occur. That made Suarez a tough driver to trust in Fantasy NASCAR lineups.

2026 PREVIEW: Drivers who switch teams are the toughest to predict. The move from Trackhouse Racing to Spire Motorsports may seem like a downgrade fro Daniel Suarez, but it is pretty even. Both teams struggle to run up front with the top teams, but both organizations have shown up for a few races with some speed.

Spire Motorsports will have Michael McDowell, Carson Hocevar and Daniel Suarez in their garage this year. Where does Suarez fall in the pecking order for Spire Motorsports? He is taking over the car that Justin Haley drove last year. Haley ranked 31st in Fantasy Live scoring in 2025 and he finished 31st in the NASCAR Cup Series Point Standings. I have Suarez doing slightly better than Haley, but not by much. It will be tough to trust Suarez in your Fantasy NASCAR lineups in 2026.

BEST TRACKS FOR DANIEL SUAREZ: Daniel Suarez doesn’t have much value in Fantasy Live, other than the Superspeedway tracks. He won the race at Atlanta in 2024, and he finished second at the track in 2023 and 2024. Suarez also finished second at Daytona and ninth at Talladega last year. It may be a good idea to take a chance with Suarez on the Superspeedway tracks (Daytona, Talladega and Atlanta) next year in order to save your top drivers for the more predictable tracks.

The other track that is really good for Daniel Suarez is Watkins Glen. The road course in upstate New York ranks as his best track. Suarez has an average finishing position of 12.8 in his eight starts at Watkins Glen. That includes a seventh-place finish last year.

One & Done Tracks for Daniel Suarez: 1) Daytona (August), 2) Talladega, 3) Atlanta, 4) Watkins Glen, 5) Sonoma

* These Rankings are based off of the driver’s average DraftKings Points at each track in 2025
