Fantrax Bronze Point Salary Cap Challenge Picks for Daytona

Facebooktwitter

One of the goals of Fantasy Racing Tips is to provide picks for as many games possible because we know every fantasy player does not play the same game. The newest game to our list is the Fantrax Bronze Point Salary Cap Challenge. The game cost $29.95 to enter, but I am sure our picks can win the money.

Scoring for this game focuses on where the driver finishes the race. There is only 1 point awarded for leading a lap and 1 more point for leading the most laps. There are no position differential points so picking the best lineup possible is the strategy for this game.

My lineup is built to win the season and not the Daytona 500. Some of my drivers start in the back but I am not too worried about them. Brad Keselowski is one of the best drivers on the restrictor-plate tracks. He should make it to the top 10 before the end of lap 10. Aric Almirola has all of the garage members from the No. 41 team last year. They won this race with Kurt Busch last year and they should get Almirola up front rather quickly.

Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney are four of the best drivers in the field. They are start up front and should race up front Sunday.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and AJ Allmendinger are great mid-range options for your team. Stenhouse won 2 of the restrictor-plate races last year and Allmendinger is the only driver in the field to finish 6 consecutive races at Daytona on the lead lap and in the top 15. These two are good at staying out of trouble.

Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. had a great race Thursday night in the Duel race. He finished 15th in this car at Daytona last July. He has shown that he knows how to drive at these tracks. The price for Wallace Jr. makes him a good pick as well.

Alex Bowman scares me. I think he will get freight trained early in this race a sent to the back. The competition is just too good up front. The problem is that I have no other options. I want Bowman on my season long team because of his cheap price. I do not want to swap him out for William Byron who starts 33rd. So I will role with Bowman and hope he can score me some bonus points for leading a lap.
