Fox Fantasy Auto Racing Picks for New Hampshire

Facebooktwitter

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will compete this week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This is the last second race of the 2017 MENCS Playoffs. It will be important to continue to select as many drivers as possible who are competing for the championship. Nine of the drivers who finished in the top 10 last week were playoff drivers. I expect the same at the Magic Mile.

My Fox Fantasy Auto Racing are ranked 16th in the overall standings. My goal is to finish in the top 10 so I need to finish the season strong.

The scoring format for Fox Fantasy Auto Racing rewards drivers who improve their position in the race a lot more than the drivers who lead the most laps. New Hampshire is a track where drivers who start in the back can make it to the front if they have a fast car. Kyle Larson started 39th in the July race and finished 2nd.

Joey Logano failed to make it through inspection for qualifying so he will start 39th. He must be on every team this week. Logano is almost guaranteed 20 position differential points.

I really wanted Daniel Suarez because his car is a lot faster than where he qualified but I could not fit him into my lineup without sacrificing one of my top drivers.

Here are my picks for the New Hampshire….

Driver 1: Martin Truex Jr. $10,500 (Starts 5th)

Driver 2: Kevin Harvick $12,400 (Starts 6th)

Driver 3: Matt Kenseth $11,800 (Starts 10th)

Driver 4: Joey Logano $8,900 (Starts 39th)

Driver 5: Aric Almirola $8,800 (Starts 29th)

Good luck this week!
