The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will compete this week at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday. This race is one of the most unpredictable races on the schedule so fantasy teams must not stress about the results. If your team scores wells this week consider yourself lucky. If your drivers all crash, just move onto Kansas. There is plenty of time to make up the points in the more predictable races.
The scoring format for Fox Fantasy Auto Racing rewards drivers who improve their position in the race a lot more than the drivers who lead the most laps. It will be important to select the drivers who can score position differential points this week. I would not recommend selecting more than one driver who starts inside the top 20 and no drivers who start inside the top 15.

Driver 1: Kyle Larson $13,000 (Starts 21st)
Driver 2: Jimmie Johnson $10,900 (Starts 30th)
Driver 3: Jamie McMurray $9,300 (Starts 23rd)
Driver 4: Austin Dillon $7,700 (Starts 18th)
Driver 5: AJ Allmendinger $8,300 (Starts 27th)
