NASCAR Driver Rankings for Darlington

Well, this is it. The final race of the regular season is here and NASCAR will give the team’s one last chance to secure their spot in the playoffs at “The Track Too Tough to Tame.” NASCAR completed their regular seasons with a “last chance” race at Daytona since the 2020 season. This year the drivers get one last dance with the “Lady in Black.” This is one of my favorite tracks. Darlington always puts on a good show. It may be ever crazier this year. The Southern 500 can be seen Sunday at 6 p.m. ET on USA Network.

Darlington is a unique track. Not just because it is shaped like an egg, but because the racing surfaces eats up the tires quickly and it forces the drivers to search the track for grip. That means the field will move to the top of the track after a long run and the drivers who can run the fence without too many “Darlington Stripes” will make their way to the front of the field. There are a group of drivers who have a history of running well at Darlington. I will have these drivers at the top of the Driver Rankings and in all of my Fantasy NASCAR lineups this weekend.
