NASCAR Driver Rankings for Nashville

Facebooktwitter

The Cup Series will travel to Music City to race at Nashville Superspeedway. This will be the fourth trip to Nashville for the Cup Series. The first three races were won by three different drivers. Kyle Larson won in 2021, Chase Elliott won in 2022 and Ross Chastain went to Victory Lane at Nashville last year. That is three Chevy’s in three races. Will the other manufacturers be able to end the streak of Chevy drivers in Victory Lane in the Music City, or will we see another car with a bowtie parked in Victory Lane? The Ally 400 can be seen Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Nashville Superspeedway is a 1.33-mile, concrete, tri-oval track. The most similar track to Nashville is Dover Motor Speedway. The drivers who run well at Dover typically run up front at Nashville. Darlington is a 1.33-mile track that has some similarities to Nashville, but the surfaces are different. I will use the stats from the two Gen-7 car races at Nashville and the races at Dover and Darlington this year for the Driver Rankings this week. I am also adding in the data from the last four oval races so we can see which drivers have momentum right now.
