NASCAR One & Done Pick for Nashville

Facebooktwitter

The Cup Series took a week off and now it is time for the final 10 races before the 2023 playoffs start. It will begin with a trip to Music City for a race at Nashville Superspeedway. The race Sunday night will be the third race for the Cup Series in Nashville. The first race was dominated by Kyle Larson and the second race was dominated by Joe Gibbs Racing. There is a good chance the Ally 400 turns into a battle between Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing again, but do not count out Trackhouse Racing Sunday night.

ONE & DONE CONTESTS

MARTIN TRUEX JR. will be my pick in games where you can use a driver once. Truex will have momentum after his win at Sonoma. The most similar track to Nashville is Dover and Truex won that race this year too. Truex dominated the race at Nashville last year by leading 82 laps and winning both Stages. The word in the garage is that the No. 19 team has the car to beat Sunday night. I will burn my One & Done pick with the Truex at Nashville.

ONE & DONE CONTESTS (Game which rest at the playoffs and Games which allow multiple uses)

ROSS CHASTAIN will be my pick in the games that reset when the playoffs begin and in the games that allow you to use a driver multiple times throughout the season. This is a home race for Trackhouse Racing. The team builds their cars just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, but the team has its headquarters in Nashville. Chastain has been good in the two races at Nashville. He finished second in 2021 and fifth last year. The No. 1 car was blazing fast in practice. Chastain posted the third-fastest speed in practice, with the second-fastest 10-lap average speed and the fastest 20-lap average speed. I will play Chastain in all of my leagues and hope the No. 1 car hits the right notes to play the perfect tune in Music City.

Good luck Sunday!
