The MENCS is flying by as fast as the cars on the track. We are already a month into the season and the strong cars are starting to separate from the pack. The series will be back to the full aero package this week so we should see a lot of drafting, a lot of close racing and maybe more cautions. The Auto Club 400 can be seen Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
My goal every year in the One & Done game is to have an average finishing position of 15th or better from my drivers. So far this season our average finishing position is 14.75. Not good! I am not happy that be burned our allocation with Kevin Harvick and he only finished 9th. He had a 2.5 average finishing position at the track in his last 11 races at Phoenix. He also had the 2nd fastest car on the long runs in practice. So what went wrong? He said the new aero package did not fit his driving style. We that just sucks! We need to bounce back and start at hot streak at Auto Club.
Here are my picks for Auto Club…

My One & Done pick this week will Brad Keselowski. Auto Club Speedway is a Team Penske track. They always run well here. Keselowski had the fastest car in final practice with the 3rd fastest 10-lap speed and the 2nd-fastest 20-lap speed. Keselowski has not finished outside the top 10 at Auto Club since 2014. I think he will compete for a win Sunday.
Good luck this week!
