Saturday night racing at Bristol! Does it get any better than that? This race is almost guaranteed to be one of the best of the season. Many drivers have some scores to settle and others have to push cars out of the way so they can make the playoffs. The August race at Bristol is always wild and this one should be no different. The Bristol Night Race can be seen Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.
My goal every year in the One & Done game is to have an average finishing position of 15th or better from my drivers. Last week I used my start with Kyle Larson. He did not have the best race but it is not where you start, it is where you finish in the One & Done game. Larson finished 3rd and improved my season average to 12.9. Not too bad. I will still work hard so we can have a top-10 average finishing position.
Here are my picks for Bristol…

My One & Done pick this week will be Ryan Newman. I have some of the top drivers left to use this season but I am saving them for the playoffs. I will finish the last three weeks before the playoffs begin with drivers who are battling for a playoff spot. Newman is one of those drivers. He finished 7th at Bristol in April and 6th in the Night Race last year. I expect Newman to finish in the top 10 again Saturday night.
Good luck this week!
