NASCAR One & Done Picks for Charlotte

Facebooktwitter

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series returns to points racing this week at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Fantasy NASCAR players will have a lot of information to use for the 600-mile marathon Sunday. The series just competed on a similar track at Kansas, they held the All-Star race at Charlotte last week and they have three hours to dial in their cars. It should not be difficult to figure out who has the fast cars this week. The Coca-Cola 600 can be seen Sunday at 6 p.m. ET on Fox.

My goal every year in the One & Done game is to have an average finishing position of 15th or better from my drivers. Kurt Busch came through with a top-10 finish at Kansas and that makes my average finishing position for my One & Done picks 9.8. I need another top-10 finish from my pick in the Coca-Cola 600 to stay inside the top 10.

** NASCAR will inspect the cars Sunday afternoon (It is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. ET). Any car that fails will start in the back and be scored in Fantasy NASCAR from his qualifying position. If I need to update my picks I will post a message on my Twitter account (@MrFantasyNASCAR) and my Fantasy NASCAR FB Page.

Daniel Suarez ? Charlotte Martin Truex Jr.

?

My One & Done pick this week will be Daniel Suarez. The No. 41 car posted the fastest speed in the Saturday morning practice and backed it up with the fastest speed in final practice. Suarez was also 6th fastest on the 10-lap average speed chart and 4th fastest on the 15-lap and 20-lap average speed chart. He has a fast car. Charlotte ranks as his 2nd best track to I will roll the dice with Suarez Sunday.

Good luck this week!
