Round 2 of the playoffs is always crazy. The race at Talladega had 13 cautions and it likely will not get any better this Sunday. The race at the Charlotte Roval had 10 cautions last year. It could be a race of survival this week as drivers battle it out for a spot in the next round of the playoffs.
There are only five races left in the 2020 season so that means we have used 31 drivers so far in our One & Done contests. That leaves us looking under couch cushions and rocks to find a good driver to use in the Bank of America Roval 400. Hopefully we can get lucky this week because we surely did not have any luck at Talladega.
Here are my picks for the Bank of America Roval 400…

Drivers left to use: Denny Hamlin, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Ryan Preece and Daniel Suarez
My One & Done Pick for Charlotte Roval: Daniel Suarez
I really do not have any good drivers to choose from this week. Denny Hamlin is my best driver left, but I am saving the No. 11 car for a more predictable track. Instead, I will use Daniel Suarez. He grew up racing Volkswagens on Road Courses. Some of that experience has translated into success on the Road Courses in the Cup Series. I am hoping he can simply finish in the top 15.
Michael McDowell will be my pick for games where you can use a driver twice. If you have McDowell left to use in the One & Done game, I would use him over Daniel Suarez. McDowell finished 12th at the Charlotte Roval last year and 10th at the Daytona Roval this year. He should have a good chance to finish near the top 10 Sunday.
Good luck this week!
