NASCAR One & Done Picks for Homestead

Facebooktwitter

The NASCAR Cup Series will get back to intermediate track racing this weekend. This time it will be at Homestead Miami Speedway. The race was originally scheduled for March but now it will be in the hot Florida sun in late spring. The Dixie Vodka 400 can be seen Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET on Fox.

Last Race: What a freaking disaster Aric Almirola was. A dead battery? Really? Almirola parked his car with 24 laps to go and finished 33rd. I was expecting a lot more from a driver starting on the row.

Here are my picks for the Dixie Vodka 400…

My One & Done Pick for Homestead: Tyler Reddick

This is a good race to use your start with Tyler Reddick. Homestead was his best track in the Xfinity Series and it lead to two championships in the series. Reddick won the last two races in the Xfinity Series at Homestead because of his ability to run the top of the track better than others. I will take my chances with the No. 8 car Sunday.

I will use Jimmie Johnson in the games where you can use a driver more than once. I was waiting for Johnson to get a top-10 starting position before I used him. He will start 9th Sunday and the No. 48 car showed it has the speed to run in the top 10. Johnson had the fastest car in the daylight at Homestead last year. I expect his car to be fast again this weekend.

Good luck this week!
