The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will compete under the lights this week at Kansas Speedway. The combination of new asphalt and the higher-downforce areo package should prove for some fast racing Saturday night. The Digital Ally 400 can be seen Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1.
My goal every year in the One & Done game is to have an average finishing position of 15th or better from my drivers. I thought Chase Elliott had a great chance to win last week, especially if it was going to be a rain shortened race. The No. 9 car was able to finish 5th. That is not too bad. My average finishing position for my One & Done picks is now 10.5. We need a top 10 finish from our pick this week to put our average finishing position inside the top 10.
* NASCAR will inspect the cars Saturday afternoon (It is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. ET). Any car that fails will start in the back and be scored in Fantasy NASCAR from his qualifying position. If I need to update my picks I will post a message on my Twitter account (@MrFantasyNASCAR) and my Fantasy NASCAR FB Page.

My One & Done pick this week will be Kurt Busch. My top two choices would be Aric Almirola or Clint Bowyer but I already used them. Busch had the fastest car in final practice and the 4th-fastest 10-lap average speed. Busch has finished all 5 races on the intermediate tracks in the top 10. Busch finished 8th in this race last year. I will roll the dice with the Global Poker car Saturday night.
Good luck this week!
