So how are you doing in your One & Done game? Most people are nervous about their pick this week because they are out of the top drivers who are likely to finish up front. Do not panic. Everyone you are competing with is likely in the same situation as you. It will be very important to find that value pick that could run well Sunday. The Hollywood Casino 400 can be seen Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
My goal every year in the One & Done game is to have an average finishing position of 15th or better from my drivers. Last week I decided to use Joey Gase and it was a disaster. Gase was involved in a wreck and finished 36th. Almost any other low funded car would have been a better choice. My average finishing position for the season is now 13.7. It is not going to get any easier in the last 5 races.
Here are my picks for Kansas…

Wow, it is getting slim pickings for the One & Done game with 6 races left in the season. The drivers I have available to me include: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Corey Lajoie, Landon Cassill, Ross Chastain and Matt Tifft.
I will roll the dice with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. He had a good race at Kansas in May and I am hoping he can do the same Sunday. Stenhouse qualified 14th, finished 3rd in Stage 1, 5th in Stage 2 and finished 11th in the race. Stenhouse even led 11 laps in the race. Stenhouse posted the 6th fastest speed in final practice with the 11th best long-run speed. This is his best track left on the schedule so I will use Stenhouse today.
Good luck this week!
