Round two of the NASCAR playoffs will take the green flag in Las Vegas Sunday night. There are only seven races left in the 2020 season and most people are turning over rocks to try and find a decent driver for their One & Done game. Unless you have been hiding one of your top drivers in your pocket, you will likely need some luck and the caution flags go your way this week. Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Bubba Wallace Jr. and Ty Dillon finished in the top 10 at Las Vegas last February, so there is some hope for our picks.
Last Race: Chase Elliott was my pick at Bristol. I was hoping for a trip to Victory Lane for the No. 9 car but Elliott was only able to bring the car home in 7th place. He did win Stage 1 so that helps in games that award Stage points. Hopefully we can get another top-10 finish Sunday night.
Here are my picks for the South Point Casino 400…

My One & Done Pick for Las Vegas: Chris Buescher
I will roll the dice with Chris Buescher Sunday night. He has not been great this season on the 1.5-mile tracks but he hasn’t been horrible either. His average finishing position at the 1.5-mile tracks over the summer is 14th. He also finished 14th in the last race at Las Vegas. I will gladly take a top-15 finish from Buescher at Las Vegas.
Austin Dillon will be my pick in the games I can use a driver twice. Dillon ran really well in round one of the playoffs and his hot streak should continue in round two. Dillon finished 4th at Las Vegas last February. He should be able to finish in the top 10 Sunday night.
Good luck this week!
