NASCAR One & Done Picks for New Hampshire

Facebooktwitter

The Cup Series will compete at the “Magic Mile” this week. The race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway will be the fourth race on a flat track this season. The data from the races at Phoenix, Richmond, Martinsville and WWT Raceway should help us predict which drivers will be fast and who will be the best picks for our One and Done contests. I will be using one of my top drivers Sunday since the race should be more predictable than some of the other races left on the schedule.

Here is my One & Done pick for the race at the Magic Mile…

ONE & DONE PICK FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE:  MARTIN TRUEX JR. will be my pick in the One & Done games where you can use a driver once throughout the season and in games where you can use a driver more than once during the season. Truex is going to need a win in order to make the playoffs if the Cup Series continues to add first time winners to Victory Lane. The No. 19 car has been at its best on the flat tracks this year and Truex looks fast again this week. He posted the fifth-fastest speed in practice and won the pole for the race. Track position is usually very important at the Magic Mile so Truex should have a great chance to win Sunday.

* I have no problem using Aric Almirola and saving Martin Truex Jr. for another race. I already used Almirola at Phoenix so he is not available for me to use. This is his best track and he won the race last year.

Good Luck Sunday!
