The Cup Series will complete their West Coast Swing this week with a trip to ISM Raceway (Phoenix). This is also the host track for the 2020 Championship race. The teams will put a lot of focus on this race, not only because it is where the season ending trophy is, but because it is the first race for the 2020 aero package on the short tracks. Racing at Phoenix is always good and it should be no different this week. The Fan Shield 500 can be seen Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
Last Week: Can my luck get any worse in this game? I had Ross Chastain running 12th at Las Vegas and blew a tire with 10-laps to go. Last week it was Ryan Blaney’s turn to bring my team bad luck. The No. 12 car was running in second place with six laps left and the tire started to come apart. Come on Goodyear! Get your shit together.

My One & Done Pick for Phoenix: Kevin Harvick
When your nickname is the King of Avondale, you know you must be good at the track. Harvick has won 7 of the last 14 races in Phoenix. His average finishing position since he joined Stewart-Haas Racing at the track is 3.4. Harvick had the fastest car on the long runs in practice and he starts 2nd. I need to have a good week so I will take the best driver ever at ISM Raceway.
Good luck this week!
