NASCAR One & Done Picks for Talladega

Facebooktwitter

The 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will be competing at Richmond Raceway this week in the Toyota Owners 400. My One & Done picks have been pretty good this season. I am ranked 3rd out of 50 in my league. I hope you are finding success with the picks as well. My strategy of saving the top drivers for later in the season will pay off this summer.

Here are my picks for Talladega…

Brendan Gaughan will be my pick for the One & Done game. I do not want to use a driver who competes full-time this week so I will use one of the ringers. My choices are Timothy Peters, Cole Custer and Gaughan. I trust Gaughan a lot more because he has a lot of experience on these tracks. Gaughan has a 19th average finishing position at Talladega. I will be happy if he can finish in the top 20 this week.

Paul Menard ranks No. 1 in average finishing position in the last 6 Superspeedway races. His worst finish at these tracks in the last three seasons is 13th. I expect Menard to run with his Team Penske aliiance teammates Sunday. Menard will start 13th in the race.

G od luck this week!
