NASCAR Pick’em Contest for Kansas
One of the more popular ways that some people play fantasy racing is by entering a NASCAR Pick’ems Contest. Players select one driver for each race, but you can only select a driver one or two times during the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. I will be providing my picks each week to help out members who play these types of games.

Only five races left in the seasons and it is getting harder and harder to find drivers for the One and Done game. The Drivers I have left include: Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Cole Whitt, Corey LaJoie, Reed Sorenson, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Gray Gaulding, Derrike Cope and B.J. McLeod. That does not leave me a lot to work with. I will use Jimmie Johnson for Martinsville and Kevin Harvick at Phoenix. I still need to find drivers for Kansas, Texas and Homestead and that will not be easy (I really thought some of the young drivers entering the MENCS next year would compete at the end of the season but it has not happened).
Corey LaJoie is my choice this week because I really do not have any other choices. He qualified 38th and finished 27th in the May race at Kansas. He qualified 35th this week so I hope he can improve upon his finishing position from May be 3 spots and finish 24th Sunday.
Martin Truex Jr. will be my pick in the games you can select a driver twice. He won the last race at Kansas and he has been the most dominant driver on the 1.5-mile tracks this season. He should have a good chance to go to Victory Lane Sunday.
Good luck this week! We need it at this time of year!
