Streak to the Finish Picks for Daytona

One of the easiest fantasy racing games to understand and play is the nascar.com Streak to the Finish game. Players must select a driver who finishes in the top 10 in order to start a streak. Each race you pick a driver and as long as the driver finishes in the top 10 your streak continues. If your driver finishes outside the top 10, your streak ends and you must start a new streak. The game rewards the teams who can put together the longest streaks.

Last week I was able to pick all three races and extend my Streak to 9. I selected Chase Briscoe for the Camping World Truck Series race at Iowa. Briscoe finished 7th. I selected Elliott for the Xfinity Series race at Iowa and he finished 8th. Kyle Busch was my pick for Sonoma and he had me biting my fingernails off as he ran in 37th position. He made his way to the front and finished 5th.

The rules for Streak to the Finish state that you do not have to make a pick for every race. You will not lose your Streak if you fail to make a pick. This is one of the weekends when you may want to use that strategy if you have a long Streak going. Races at Daytona are very unpredictable and it will be easy to lose your Streak. I am rolling the dice to see if I can extend my Streak to 11 as the series heads to Kentucky next week.

My current Streak is at 9 and I have 30 points for the season.

Here are my picks for the Streak to the Finish for Daytona…

Camping World Truck Series: No race this weekend

Xfinity Series: Joey Logano

MENCS: Kevin Harvick

Good luck this week!
