One of the easiest fantasy racing games to understand and play is the nascar.com Streak to the Finish game. Players must select a driver who finishes in the top 10 in order to start a streak. Each race you pick a driver and as long as the driver finishes in the top 10 your streak continues. If your driver finishes outside the top 10, your streak ends and you must start a new streak. The game rewards the teams who can put together the longest streaks.
It was heartbreak city for my picks in Kansas. I selected Erik Jones for the Xfinity Series race and he led 186 of the 200 laps but wrecked with 3 laps to go. Jones finished 15th and ended my Streak.
I had better luck in the MENCS race. I selected Martin Truex Jr. and he was able to win for the 6th time on a 1.5-mile track. My current Streak is at 1 and my season total is 62.
The Camping World Truck Series and the MENCS compete at Martinsville Speedway this week. I am selecting Christopher Bell. He started 2nd and won the race at Martinsville in July.
I am selecting Kyle Busch for the MENCS. He has a series-best 3.25 average finishing position and a series-high 127 driver rating in the last 5 races at Martinsville. Busch has finish 5 consecutive races at the track in the top 5.
