One of the easiest fantasy racing games to understand and play is the nascar.com Streak to the Finish game. Players must select a driver who finishes in the top 10 in order to start a streak. Each race you pick a driver and as long as the driver finishes in the top 10 your streak continues. If your driver finishes outside the top 10, your streak ends and you must start a new streak. The game rewards the teams who can put together the longest streaks.
Last week I used Kyle Busch for the Xfinity Series and Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races at Watkins Glen. Busch won the Xfinity Series race and finished 7th in the MENCS race. My Streak is at two races and I have 42 points for the season.
The Camping World Truck Series races at Michigan Saturday. The fans will be happy (sarcastic) to see Kyle Busch entered in the race this week. He is the obvious choice to win the race so I will be using the No. 51 truck for the race.
The Xfinity Series races at Mid-Ohio this week. I will be using Sam Hornish Jr. for the race. This is his home track and he was fastest in final practice.
The MENCS will compete at Michigan for the second time in the last two months. I am selecting the driver who won the race in June. Kyle Larson has dominated the 2-mile ovals this season and he should be a lock for a top-10 finish Sunday.
Here are my picks for the Streak to the Finish for Mid-Ohio and Michigan…
Camping World Truck Series: Kyle Busch
Xfinity Series: Sam Hornish Jr.
MENCS: Kyle Larson
Good luck this week!
