One of the easiest fantasy racing games to understand and play is the nascar.com Streak to the Finish game. Players must select a driver who finishes in the top 10 in order to start a streak. Each race you pick a driver and as long as the driver finishes in the top 10 your streak continues. If your driver finishes outside the top 10, your streak ends and you must start a new streak. The game rewards the teams who can put together the longest streaks.
Last week I selected Johnny Suater for the Camping World Truck Series race, Kyle Larson for the Xifinty Series race and Marin Truex Jr. for the MENCS race at Texas. Sauter won his race, Larson finished 3rd and Truex finished 2nd. My Streak is at 6 races and I have 67 points for the season.
All three series will compete this week at Phoenix. The 1-mile flat track provides some good racing and I will do my best to have a Streak of 9 races heading into Homestead.
I am selecting Matt Crafton for the Camping World Truck Series race. He finished 10 of the last 12 races at Phoenix in the top 10 and his career average finishing position is 9.25 at the track.
Erik Jones will be my pick for Xfinity Series Race. He has competed in 6 career races in the Xfinity Series at Phoenix and has never finished outside the top 10.
Denny Hamlin will be my pick for the MENCS. He has the most to race for and his Toyota teammates should help him with his setup this week.
Here are my picks for the Streak to the Finish for Phoenix…
Camping World Truck Series: Matt Crafton
Xfinity Series: Erik Jones
MENCS: Denny Hamlin
Good luck this week!
