One of the easiest fantasy racing games to understand and play is the nascar.com Streak to the Finish game. Players must select a driver who finishes in the top 10 in order to start a streak. Each race you pick a driver and as long as the driver finishes in the top 10 your streak continues. If your driver finishes outside the top 10, your streak ends and you must start a new streak. The game rewards the teams who can put together the longest streaks.
Last week I selected Christopher Bell for the Camping World Truck Series and Kyle Busch for the MENCS race at Martinsville. Bell finished 8th and Busch won on Sunday. My Streak is at 3 races and I have 64 points for the season.
All three series will compete this week at Texas. The 1.5-mile tracks are usually predictable so I am expecting to double my Streak to 6 races after this weekend.
I am selecting Johnny Suater for the Camping World Truck Series race. He finished 8th at Texas in July and he won this race last year. He should be a safe pick for a top-10 finish Friday night.
Kyle Larson will be my pick for Xfinity Series Race. His average finishing position on the 1.5-mile tracks in the Xfinity Series this season is 2.4. He should easily finish in the top 10 Saturday.
The best driver in the MENCS on the 1.5-mile tracks has been Martin Truex Jr. so I will role with the No. 78 car this week. Truex has won 6 races on tracks similar to Texas this season.
Here are my picks for the Streak to the Finish for Texas…
Camping World Truck Series: Johnny Suater
Xfinity Series: Kyle Larson
MENCS: Martin Truex Jr.
Good luck this week!
