The Truck Series will join the Xfinity Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday for a double-header day of racing. The Truck Series will race first at 2 pm ET on FS1, followed by the Xfinity Series race in the evening. The field is mostly made up of Truck Series regulars. John H. Nemechek is entered into the field, but there are no Cup Series drivers in this race. The Truck Series races are always fun to watch and play DFS contests for. I expect the same Saturday.
SUPERSPEEDWAY STATS
NASCAR does not practice any more at the Superspeedways. They did this to save cost for the teams. The Truck Series teams will only need one truck (no backup), since they were only scheduled to qualify and race this weekend. Qualifying was rained out, so now we were not able to see any truckers on the track before the race. This limits the data we have for the race, but we can still look at the driver’s stats on the Superspeedways to get an idea of which truckers will be good picks for our DFS lineups Saturday…

DFS STRATEGY FOR ATLANTA
The race Saturday at Atlanta is scheduled for 135 laps (202.5 miles). That means there are 33.75 points available for leading laps and 60.75 points available for laps led (94.5 dominator points). The race last year had three dominators. Stewart Friesen led 49 laps and scored 2 fastest laps (13.15 dominator points). Corey Hiem led 22 laps and scored one fastest laps (5.95 dominator points). Chandler Smith led 21 laps and scored one fastest laps (5.7 dominator points). We can pay up for one dominator in our lineups, but it would be a good idea to focus on the place differential points Saturday.
The drivers with the best chance to score dominator points Saturday are: Zane Smith, Ty Majeski, Ben Rhodes, John H. Nemechek and Corey Hiem
The drivers with the best chance to score place differential points include John H. Nemechek, Hailey Deegan, Tyler Ankrum, Stewart Friesen, Rajah Caruth, Brett Holmes, Bayley Currey, Kris Wright, Spencer Boyd, Ryan Vargas and Keith McGeee

DRIVER GROUP GAME PICKS
The Driver Group Game will once again have a contest for the Truck Series. It is easy to play. You simply select one driver from Group A, two drivers from Group B and one driver from Group C for your lineup. You can only use the drivers in Groups A & B six times throughout the season. You can only use the drivers in Group C five times throughout the season, so you have to use your allocations wisely. Here is the link to join: DGG Truck Series Game
Here are the drivers I will use for the FR8 Auctions 208 Saturday…
Good Luck Saturday!
