The Truck Series will join the Cup Series and Xfinity Series at Bristol Motor Speedway this week. The Truck Series will start their Round of Eight Thursday night. The eight drivers competing for the championship includes Corey Heim, Christian Eckes, Grant Enfinger, Carson Hocevar, Zane Smith, Ty Majeski and Ben Rhodes. It should be fun to see these drivers battle for a chance to get to the final four at Phoenix. The Unoh 200 can be seen Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET on FS1.
PRACTICE / QUALIFYING
The Truck Series teams had a short practice session to shake down their trucks for Thursday night’s race at Bristol. There are 200 laps in the Unoh 200. We are not going to learn much by looking at the single-lap speed from practice. You must look at the 10-lap average speed and the other charts posted on nascar.com. I will use the data from practice and the driver’s track history to help pick out my drivers for the race Thursday night.

DFS STRATEGY FOR BRISTOL
The race Bristol is all about the dominators. We MUST have the drivers who lead the most laps in our lineups or we will not win any money.
The trend in the last three races at Bristol is for one driver to lead 90 laps and score 40 fastest laps (40.5 dominator points) and another driver leads 50 laps and scores 26 fastest laps (24.2 dominator points). Our lineups will have a great chance to reach the pay-line if we are able to score the 65 bonus points that these two drivers are projected to score.
