The Truck Series will join the Cup Series in St. Louis this weekend to race at the World Wide Technology Raceway (Gateway). While the Cup Series just started to compete at Gateway two years ago, the Truck Series are no strangers to this track. It is a 1.25-mile flat track and it often produces some good racing. Hopefully the Truckers realize this is a race and not demolition derby at Gateway. We will see how it all plays out Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
PRACTICE / QUALIFYING
The Truckers were allowed 20-minutes of track time to shake down their trucks for Saturday’s race. The last two races at Gateway have had 11 cautions. That means there will be a lot of restarts Saturday. We will need the drivers who are fast on the short and long runs in our lineups at Gateway.

DFS STRATEGY FOR GATEWAY
There are 160 laps in the race at Gateway (200 miles). That means there are 40 points available for leading laps and 72 points available for fastest laps (112 dominator points). The trend in the last two races at Gateway is for one driver to lead 66 laps and score 36 fastest laps (32.7 dominator points). Another driver leads 54 laps and scores 24 fastest laps (24.3 dominator points). A third driver leads 32 laps and scores 14 fastest laps (14.3 dominator points). I am going to pay up for the drivers I think can lead the most laps tonight. Corey Heim won at Gateway in 2022 and he has led the most laps in the last four Truck Series races. He will probably be one of the dominators again Saturday.
The drivers with the best chance to score dominator points today includes Corey Heim, Ty Majeski, Christian Eckes and Nick Sanchez
The drivers with the best chance to score place differential points include Corey Heim, Matt Crafton, Ty Dillon, Grant Enfinger, Lane Riggs, Baylee Curey Colby Howard and Matt Mills
