Truck Series Fantasy Picks for Nashville

Facebooktwitter

The Truck Series will return to the track after two weeks off. They will join the Cup Series and Xfinity Series at Nashville Superspeedway. The trucks competed in Music City from 2001 through 2011 and then they did not return until the race in 2021. The last two races at Nashville (2021 and 2022) were won by Ryan Preece. He is not entered in the race this week, but Taylor Gray will be driving the truck that Preece took to Victory Lane. It will be fun to see how it all plays out tonight. The Rackley Roofing 200 can be seen Friday at 8 pm ET on FS1.

PRACTICE / QUALIFYING

The Truck Series had a 20-minute practice session Friday evening and then they lined up for qualifying. Most of the trucks were able to make at least a five-lap run. That gives us some data to use for the race tonight.

Here are the lap times from the practice Friday at Nashville Superspeedway…

DFS STRATEGY FOR NASHVILLE SUPERSPEEDWAY

The race at Nashville Superspeedway is scheduled for 150 laps (199.5 miles). That means there are 37.5 points available for leading laps and 67.5 points available for fastest laps (105 dominator points).

The trend in the last two races at Nashville Superspeedway was for one driver to lead 74 laps and score 40 fastest laps (36.5 dominator points) and another driver leads 70 laps and scores 34 fastest laps (32.8 dominator points). If the trend of having two dominators in the race continues, we MUST have these two drivers in our lineup tonight. We will not win if we do not score the 70 dominator points, they are likely to score. I plan to pay up for the top dominators in the Rackley Roofing 200.

The drivers with the best chance to score dominator points today are Nick Sanchez, Corey Hiem, Carson Hocevar and Zane Smith

The drivers with the best chance to score place differential points include Christian Eckes, Carson Hocevar, Zane Smith, Stewart Friesen, Matt Crafton, Matt DiBenedetto, Dean Thompson, Jake Garcia, Jake Drew and Colby Howard

DRIVER GROUP GAME PICKS

The Driver Group Game will once again have a contest for the Truck Series. It is easy to play. You simply select one driver from Group A, two drivers from Group B and one driver from Group C for your lineup. You can only use the drivers in Groups A & B six times throughout the season. You can only use the drivers in Group C five times throughout the season, so you have to use your allocations wisely. Here is the link to join: DGG Truck Series Game

Here are the drivers I will use for the Rackley Roofing 200

Good luck with your lineups!
