Updated Driver Rankings for Bristol

Facebooktwitter

The Cup Series team drew for starting positions for the Supermarket Heroes 500. Brad Keselowski drew the pole position. This is the second time the No. 2 team drew the pole since NASCAR returned from the 71 day break. Keselowski also drew the pole for the race at Darlington.

Track position is important at Bristol. The driver who has started first, has finished first or second in three of the last four races at the track. I factored where each driver starts the race, where their pit stall is located (pit road is tough at Bristol and it pays to have a premium spot), the betting odds and some information I received from the teams about what cars they are bringing to the track to determine my updated rankings.
