The Cup Series races at WWT Raceway Sunday. This was looking like a tough race to predict since WWT Raceway is a flat track like Phoenix and Richmond, but the Cup Series will use the intermediate aero package used at Las Vegas, Kansas and Charlotte. Many of the questions I had were answered Saturday morning.
The Cup Series had a short 20-minute practice session to shake down their cars. Many of the teams were able to make some long runs, so now we have some data to work with to help handicap this race. The cars were lined up for qualifying after practice and they will only be allowed to make a few adjustments to the cars before the race (air pressure).
