Updated Fantasy NASCAR Picks for Kansas

The NASCAR Cup Series will compete at their second 1.5-mile, intermediate track this weekend when they travel to Kansas Speedway. This is an important race, not only because there are 8 races this season on the 1.5-mile, intermediate tracks, but also because Kansas Speedway is one of the tracks in the playoffs. It should be fun to see which driver can take home the trophy in the Heartland Sunday. The AdventHealth 400 can be seen Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on FOX.

Here are the picks for the season long games at Kansas Speedway….

DRIVER GROUP GAME

GROUP A: Christopher Bell is the best driver in the field who has never won at Kansas Speedway. Bell finished 2nd and 3rd in his two races at Kansas Speedway last year and he finished 4th at Las Vegas earlier this season. Bell posted the 3rd-fastest speed long-run in practice and the No. 20 car qualified 11th for the race (he qualified 11th because Bell was in Group 1 and the track was lacking speed when he went out). Bell has the speed, track position and the No. 1 pit crew. He should have a good chance to win Sunday.

GROUP B: I have no problem using another allocation with Tyler Reddick Sunday. I want to use Reddick while he is running hot. He won the race at Kansas in 2023 and he finished 7th in the playoffs at Kansas Last year. Reddick posted the 2nd– fastest long-run speed in practice and the No. 45 car won the pole for the race. Reddick is running to well right now to fade.

Bubba Wallace has been hit or miss at Kansas Speedway, so there is some risk with this pick. He won the race at Kansas Speedway in 2022 and he finished 5th in the playoff race last year. The No. 23 car posted the fastest long-run speed in practice and Wallace qualified 10th for the race. He has the speed and the track position to run well Sunday.

GROUP C: I was not expecting the switch from TrackHouse Racing to Spire Motorsports to be an upgrade for Daniel Suarez this year, but that is what is happening. Suarez qualified 13th and finished 18th earlier this season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. That is not great, but it is not bad as well. Suarez led 6 laps and finished 17th in his last race at Kansas Speedway. He should be the best pick in Group C Sunday.
