The 2019 NASCAR Season is in the books and it is never too early to start looking forward to the 2020 season. The “Big Three” (Christopher Bell, Cole Custer and Tyler Reddick) from the Xfinity Series are all moving up to the cup level and they will be in good equipment. The 2019 season was very competitive and the 2020 season looks like it will be even better.
Here are team teams planning to compete for the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Championship…

* Go Fas Racing signed a deal with Stewart-Haas Racing to get chassis from SHR and share info with the team in 2020. Corey LaJoie was the driver last year but it could be Daniel Saurez in 2020.
** Front Row Motorsports said they have not decided if they will run 2 or 3 cars in 2020 but most people believe John Hunter Nemechek will replace Matt Tifft in the No. 36 car
32 Teams officially are signed up to run for the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Championship. Front Row Racing will likely run a 3rd car, Rick Ware Racing is working on their 3rd car and Spire Motorsports is still setting up their lineup for the 2020 season. That means we should have 35 teams racing full time and likely 4 teams competing on a part-time schedule: Premium Motorsports, MBM Motorsports, Beard Oil Racing (Brendan Gaughan ran the SuperSpeedway races last year) and Gaunt Brothers Racing (Parker Kligerman drove for them in 2019).
