The Cup Series had a 20-minute practice session to shake down their cars for Sunday’s race. Michigan is a two-mile oval track. Some teams decided to run the entire practice and make some long runs (this probably means they liked their cars). Other teams made short runs and then came into the pits for adjustments. Seven of the top-10 drivers in practice were also able to finish the race in the top-10 at Michigan last year. It will be important to look at the practice speeds this week.
Here is my starting lineup for the FireKeepers Casino 400 in Michigan…
GROUP A

WILLIAM BYRON looks like he has the best car in Group A. I would use him if you had him in your lineup.
GROUP B

What should we do with KEVIN HARVICK. Michigan is by far his best track, and he has won four of the last five races at Michigan. He said his car was too tight in practice. He only posted the 25th-fastest speed and qualified 22nd for the race. I am low with my allocations with Harvick, so I will mess with fire and sit him on the bench to play BUBBA WALLACE. Wallace has finished the last three intermediate track races in the top-four, and he finished second at Michigan last year. *I would play Harvick over Bowman if you have four or more allocations left with the No. 4 car.
GROUP C

I know a lot of you are running low with your allocations with TY GIBBS. If you want to save Gibbs this week, I understand your thinking. RICKY STENHOUSE JR. should be a good pick for a top-15 finish.

Good Luck Sunday!
