The second race of the first round of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs is in the books. Another Joe Gibbs Racing car (Martin Truex Jr.) advanced to the Round of 12 and it really looks like the playoffs are going to be a battle between Joe Gibbs Racing and Kyle Busch. We will see if any other teams can join the fight and win at Bristol. The Bass Pro Shop Night Race can be seen Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
The first race at Bristol was covered in dirt. We really cannot use too much data from that race for our picks this week. I used the data from the recent races using the 750 HP aero package and the race at Dover in the spring. Bristol is a rhythm track, so I also factored in the drivers stats from the last for (non-dirt) races at Bristol.
