NOAH GRAGSON (FRONT ROW MOTORSPORTS) FORD

2024 DRIVER FANTASY POINTS: 24st

2025 FANTASY NASCAR RANK: 26TH

* The 2025 ranking are based on the driver’s projected points scored for the 2025 season and not his predicted finish in the Cup Series standings. The rankings are based on the driver’s performance last year, momentum heading into the 2025 season and the strength of the driver’s team.

2024 RECAP / 2025 PREVIEW: There was a lot of “musical chairs” being played in the Cup Series last year after Stewart-Haas Racing decided to shut down three of their teams. It did not take Noah Gragson long to find a seat. He will be behind the wheel for Front Row Motorsports in 2025. Front Row Motorsports is expanding from two teams, to three teams after they purchased the charter from Stewart-Haas Racing. Gragson will be taking over the seat the was vacated when Michael McDowell left for Spire Motorsports. McDowell scored the 21st most Fantasy Live points in this car last year. Gragson scored the 24th most points in his Stewart-Haas Racing Ford. This is a new team, so I expect a slow start for Gragson in 2025. I would not be surprised if he improved in the second-half of the season.

SUPERSPEEDWAY VALUE (DAYTONA, TALLADEGA, ATLANTA)

It will be interesting to see how Noah Gragson performs on the Superspeedways for Front Row Motorsports in 2025. Michael McDowell was a popular pick at these tracks because he won the pole for both races at Atlanta, both races at Talladega and the summer race at Daytona. He also qualified 2nd for the Daytona 500. There is no doubt that Gragson will have a car fast enough to win the pole at all of the Superspeedway races in 2025. Can he find more success than McDowell in the race? That is the question that needs to be answered. McDowell had an average starting position of 1.2 and an average finishing position of 27.3. Gragson has 16 starts in the Cup Series on the Superspeedways. His average finishing position is 24.4. I expect Gragson to have similar results as McDowell on the Superspeedways this year. He will likely qualify up front and finish outside the top-20. Gragson will not have much value in your Fantasy Live lineups in 2025 and he will not have any value in DFS if he qualifies up front at these tracks.

(Noah Gragson ranked 29th in fantasy points scored on the Superspeedways last year with an average finishing position of 24th)

SHORT TRACK VALUE (PHOENIX, RICHMOND, MARTINSVILLE, BRISTOL, GATEWAY, NEW HAMPSHIRE, IOWA)

I used Noah Gragson a lot on the short tracks last year in the Driver Group Game. That game is not available in 2025 and I do not expect Gragson to be an option in Fantasy Live at these tracks. Gragson finished 12th at Phoenix in March, 12th at Richmond in March, 16th at Iowa, 12th in the Bristol Night Race, 11th at Martinsville in October and he ended the season with a 12th-place finish at Phoenix. Stewart-Haas Racing was much better than Front Row Motorsports at these tracks last year, so I expect a slight drop in production from Gragson in 2025. He should still be worth a spot in your DFS Contests, if his price under $6,500.

(Noah Gragson ranked 29th in fantasy points scored on the short tracks last year with an average finishing position of 18.6)

INTERMEDIATE TRACK VALUE (LAS VEGAS, KANSAS, CHARLOTTE, TEXAS, NASHVILLE AND DOVER)

Noah Gragson was a great sleeper pick at the intermediate tracks last year. He finished 6th at his home track in Las Vegas in March, 6th at Dover in April, 9th at Kansas in May and 10th at Nashville in June. Stewart-Haas Racing announced they were closing their shop and the production for all of the Stewart-Haas Racing cars fell in the second-half of the season. There is no doubt that Gragson has the talent to run up front at these tracks. He just needs a car that can compete with the competition. I am not so sure he will have it in 2025. Michael McDowell scored the 32nd most Fantasy Live points on the intermediate tracks last year. It is tough to imagine Gragson being a top-25 pick at these tracks in 2025.

(Noah Gragson ranked 24th in fantasy points scored on the intermediate tracks last year with an average finishing position of 17.7)

HIGH TIRE WEAR TRACK VALUE (DARLINGTON, MICHIGAN, HOMESTEAD)

Noah Gragson had more value in DFS Contests then he did in season-long contests at the high tire-wear tracks in 2025. He started 36th and finished 14th at Darlington in May, started 25th and finished 12th at Michigan in August and he started 16th and finished 19th at Homestead in October. Michael McDowell had some success for Front Row Motorsports at these tracks (McDowell scored the 20th-most Fantasy Live points on the hire tire wear tracks), so Gragson should get a car that he can run in the middle of the pack with in 2025. Michigan was the best track for Gragson in the Xfinity Series and he looked pretty good in the Irish Hills last year. I would consider Gragson for your DFS lineups when the Cup Series competes in Michigan this year.

(Noah Gragson ranked 31st in fantasy points scored on the high tire wear tracks last year with an average finishing position of 20.25)

ROAD COURSE TRACK VALUE (COTA, SONOMA, WATKINS GLEN, CHICAGO STREET, MEXICO AND CHARLOTTE ROVAL)

Noah Gragson has 6 starts on the road courses in the Cup Series. He has only finished one race inside the top-20 (Gragson finished 11th at Watkins Glen last year). His averaging starting position on the road courses is 23rd and his average finishing position is 24.1. Gragson never won a race on a road course in the Xfinity Series as well. It would be a good idea to fade Gragson on the road courses in 2025 and use the drivers with better stats.

(Noah Gragson ranked 29th in fantasy points scored on the road courses last year with an average finishing position of 23.6)

Best Tracks for Noah Gragson: 1) Indianapolis, 2) Las Vegas, 3) Iowa, 4) Phoenix, 5) Nashville

Be sure to check out all of the Driver Preview articles that will be released later this week. I will have the drivers ranked 21st – 35th for FREE. The top-20 will be behind the pay wall, so the members can get an advantage over their competitors.
