NASCAR Driver Rankings for Charlotte

The Cup Series has a home game this weekend when they celebrate Memorial Weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The Coca-Cola 600 will end a full day of racing that starts with breakfast in Monaco; lunch in Indianapolis and dinner at Charlotte. Kyle Larson is racing the Indy / Charlotte double, so that makes this weekend a bit more interesting. This is going to be a fun week for race fans. The Coca-Cola 600 can be seen Sunday at 6 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Coca-Cola 600 is an important race in Fantasy NASCAR. It is tough to know which drivers have consistent speed early in the season, but now we have 13 races of data to work with. We know Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing have the cars to beat. We also know that RFK Racing has found some speed over the last month. THE Fords of Penske Racing (mainly Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney) are showing improvement too. Tyler Reddick and Ross Chastain have also shown they can run up front on the intermediate tracks. Your Fantasy NASCAR lineup should score well if you simply stick to the drivers from the teams listed above or the drivers listed above.

Charlotte is another intermediate track. The Gen-7 car has been fantastic on these tracks. The racing surface at Charlotte is worn out and has some bumps that the drivers will have to navigate. I am using the two races at Charlotte using the Gen-7 car and combining it with the data from the recent races on the intermediate tracks this year (Texas, Dover, Kansas and Darlington). This should give us an idea of which drivers are good at Charlotte and good on the intermediate tracks in 2024.
